GENERAL INFORMATION - SPANISH COURSES
Our Spanish courses are specially designed for foreign students, covering all aspects of learning a new language (speaking, listening, writing and reading skills). Four 55-minute classes are held every day from Monday to Friday and students can decide the length of their course.
Our flexibility, enthusiasm and communication-orientated classes ensure that you will be totally immersed in the Argentine life, learning the language more efficiently. Levels - Placement test Spanish Courses are divided into six levels:
Basic (2), Intermediate (2) and Advanced (2) depending on your knowledge of Spanish. You will be given a placement test on your first day to evaluate your level, identify your individual needs and assign you to the corresponding class. Furthermore, students may take private, personalized classes (one on one instruction). Length of the Spanish CourseClasses are held Monday to Friday and students are free to choose the length of their Spanish course. A minimum of 1 week is required for group classes. There are classes every day, for a period of four hours, each lesson lasting 55 minutes. Class SizeThe average size of a class is 3, never exceeding more than 7 students per class. Spanish courses groups are organized according to the student's level of Spanish. Teachers All our teachers are native Spanish speakers from Argentina, trained and experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners. They have teaching degrees and are culturally sensitive. Having traveled to different countries, they are able to interact successfully with the students and offer assistance when needed. Teaching method - Materials Our Syllabus is specially designed for foreign students. Using various interactive methods, more emphasis is placed on
communication. The teaching material has been carefully prepared to connect areas of listening comprehension and oral communication. We encourage the active participation of our students with different games and materials such as current newspaper clippings, magazine articles, etc, which help them to acquire more fluency in the language. In addition, we organize extra curricular activities so that our students have the option to participate in a minimum of 2 activities per week. Thus, the program becomes more than just a language course; it is also an opportunity of
immersion into Argentine culture, customs and way of life. Start Dates & Holidays Classes start on any Monday. If you arrive on any other day and there is no group class available, you may begin with individual classes and join a suitable group later. The school is closed on the following dates: 03/24, 03/25, 05/25, 06/24, 08/19, 10/14, 12/08.
It has easy access by public transportation, and it is just 12 blocks away from the Aristides Villanueva Avenue, well-known for its restaurants, night clubs, pubs and international Hostels.
The Spanish school in Mendoza has 8 classrooms, one room with audio and video, teachers’ room with a lot of interesting teaching material and books. a Meeting room (to be used during breaks and free time) and a kitchen where coffee, tea or mate is offered, students can also bring their own food and drinks. The school has Wi-Fi connection and computers with free Internet access for the students.
By the end of the course students receive a certificate of atendance.
